OpenOffice.org is a great project and product.

But of course there are areas in which improvement is possible. Or maybe really needed.

Improving and being successful, does not happen as co-incident. It is a matter of focussing and awareness. Therefore the community council likes to be aware of all area's where improvement is possible. Not in the small details as issue #77777 or so, but in headlines.

Council members and even the council do not have all powers. But we can help with coordination, bringing people in contact, maybe some budget, or another form of attention.

From this page we link to possible other relevent sources or info. And to the pledges of our improvements and successes.

We invite anyone with an item that is not listed clearly enough here, to contact one of the council members. It helps us to be aware. Anyone wanting to help with a special item, pls make contact as well.

-This page is about areas where we, the OpenOffice.org project, want to improve: what is still to be done, what is actually worked at. Not in small details, but as overview, and with pointers. <br>
-It's also a bit tense, cause when we talk about improvements, we talk about showing our week points .. However, lots have been done in the past years to improve the OpenOffice.org project. Apart from all the good things there have always been, and are fine anyway. Things to be proud of, and reasons to be thankful to the people that made it all happen.
