Intro
The scope of this project is to create a common certification program for OpenOffice.org. The point is on certifying support companies (professional educators,owners of education centers, certification organizations, etc), not users directly and not programmers in the first steps.
OOo will develop appropriate and accurate criteria and approve the organizations meeting these criteria.

Module 1 - General
The current module focus on areas non-specific exclusive to a particular component of OpenOffice.org and most tasks can be performed from any area of OOo. This includes general settings and options, file and style management just to mention a few.
Module 2 - Writer (text editing)
This module present information about the use and work on the text processing component from OpenOffice.org.
Module 3 - Calc (spreadsheet)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the spreadsheet interface and common calculations.
Module 4 - Impress (presentation)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the presentation interface.
Module 5 - Draw (drawing)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the drawing interface
Module 6 - Base (database)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the database interface
Certification Books
The certification will include an official student manual and a trainer's manual that can be either downloaded or purchased through the OpenOffice.org Store.
