以下规则适用于 OpenOffice 的所有外部编程接口规范。API 包含以下构造型或设计元素：
结构
- 结构用于指定简单组合的数据元素。（结构只包含数据，不包含方法。）
异常
- 异常用于错误处理。（可以使用any 抛出或传输异常。）
接口
- 接口用于指定行为的单个方面。（接口只包含方法，不包含数据。）
服务
- 服务用于指定抽象对象。（服务指定所支持接口的属性和交互性。）
类型定义
- 类型定义用于定义具有特定用途的基本类型。（应谨慎使用此结构型。）
