My primary training is in computer science and mathematics. I spend most of my time working with computers. I first used "OpenOffice" when it was only available as StarOffice, because I wanted something that worked uniformly between Linux and Windows based systems.
Although I am not a writer by trade, but I have published numerous articles, I have numerous documents that I provide for free on my web site, and some of my documents have made it into the standard documentation.
I have been known to speak at conferences on topics related OpenOffice.org, Linux, and other general computer topics.
