JSC: in section 4.1 you mentioned the strings are extracted/collected in every build. I think we should better bind this to a special configure option, I am not sure if we would need it in every build or let it up to the developer or for example to special builds on build bots etc. A further swtich will at least give us more flexibility and we can easy switch the default.
JI: I will make a switch, no problem, but I think the process will be so fast that there are no need not to do it.
