How do I turn off automatic word completion?

How do you turn off the automatic word completion behavior?


  1. Open a text document.
  2. From the pulldown menus, select: Tools>AutoCorrect/AutoFormat.
  3. Select the "Word Completion" tab.
  4. Deselect the check box to the left of "Complete Words".
  5. Click on OK.
