Building

There are at least two ways to build OOo:

• up-stream - just use the sources and the included buildsystem directly (this is explained in Building OpenOffice.org)
• ooo-build - a system that encapsulates the process and manages some additional patchsets (more in Building with ooobuild)

There are also some Distribution-specific instructions .
