How can I add fonts to OpenOffice?


  • Linux: Exit OpenOffice and then run the spadmin program (located in your OpenOffice.org directory) and click on the “Fonts” button.
  • Mac: The above information may work on some operating systems but it does not work on MacOS X Tiger PPC.
  • Windows: OOo uses the fonts that are installed in your system. Add new fonts using the Control Panel. May be you have to restart OOo (including the Quickstarter), then you will see those new fonts in the Font Name list box.
