The following ux-ctest issue have been recorded during usability sessions.

German terminology in context menu for sheet controls could be misunderstood (i60402)

Terminology in context menu for sheet controls: “Tabelle löschen“ should be „Tabellenblatt löschen“. Recommendation: Einfügen vs. Einfügen (competition: Insert vs. Paste); Scrap commands not offered in CM by competition.

Calc does not support all users' strategies regarding sorting data (i60401)

Calc does not support all users' strategies regarding sorting data that are supported by Excel: Only selecting the column to sort by and then trying to sort, either by clicking the icon or using the menu entry, results in a user error. Recommendation: Make more intelligent auto selections.

Spreadsheet handling wording table vs. spreadsheet (i60400)

The handling of sheets (delete, copy, insert, move) does conflict with the users habits: 1.The sheet to be copied/moved etc. is referred to in the menus as “Tabelle” (lit.: table) instead of “Tabellenblatt” (spreadsheet) as in MSO Excel. 2.The context menu on the sheet index tab behaves differently than that of MSO Excel as well, without being more intuitively usable: it still contains cut, copy, paste, which does not refer to the entire sheet but to the cell selected by the cursor position. 3.In the Edit menu, the user has to go into the submenu “Tabelle” to then find move/copy, select, and delete. Thus, the user just chooses “Einfügen” or ”Ausschneiden” (Insert or Cut) or deletes contents instead of “Tabelle einfügen/löschen” or even opening the Edit menu entry “Tabelle”. Recommendation: Support habits learned using MSO Excel: 1.Omit functions on tab index that do not refer to the entire sheet. 2.Change the German wording “Tabelle” for Spreadsheet into “Tabellenblatt”.

Delete Columns/Rows in the context menu is missing if the cursor is not positioned on Column/Row Header (i60399)

There is no explicit entry “Spalten/Zeilen löschen” (Delete Columns/Rows) in the context menu if the cursor is not positioned on Column/Row Headers, even if a complete column/row is selected. Recommendation: Add option in context menu, if a complete column/row is selected.

Calc does not support all users' strategies regarding AutoSum (i60397)

Calc does not support all users' strategies regarding AutoSum that are supported by competition: Selecting the source cells and the target cell and then clicking the AutoSum icon results in a user error. Recommendation: Support AutoSum strategies that are known from competition.

Sum function does not automatically recognize target cell for result (i51564)

Select 3 cells with numbers and one cell empty. Press the Sum control. Sum result is not placed in the empty selected cell. This behavior differs from competition.
