The model of a document is the data that is made persistent, so that all form elements are a part of it. Refer to chapter Frame-Controller-Model Paradigm in Apache OpenOffice for additional information. This is true for logical forms, as well as for control models. Controls, that is, the view part of form elements, are not made persistent, thus are not accessible in the document model.
