How do I insert tabs or indentations in front of the cursor position when clicking on an empty paragraph or empty table cell?
This is a function called Direct Cursor in the OpenOffice.org:
- From the main menu bar, select Tools > Options.
- In the dialog that appears, select OpenOffice.org Writer > Formatting Aids.
- Click Direct Cursor > tabs.
- Click ok.
