Does OpenOffice.org come with the equivalent of Microsoft Outlook?
OpenOffice.org does not have an integrated eMail/Calendar client application, but there are a number of free Open Source based applications available.
- Mozilla Thunderbird with the Lightning Calendaring extension. The platform independent architecture makes Mozilla Thunderbird to the preferred application for OpenOffice.org.
- Gnome Evolution is a Linux/Gnome based email and calendar client
- There is also a Microsoft Windows version of Evolution available
- Kontact is a Linux/KDE based email and calendar client
