Trying to create a Database whenever i go to the tables option however i get an error message "openoffice.org requires a Java runtime environment (JRE) to perform this task. the selected JRE is defective. + | :This is not the best place to ask for help; try the forum from the /support link on the main site. I think you will find lots of discussion there. AFAIK (I don't use Base), you need a Java version of 1.6.something. If you have 1.7 installed, or if you download 1.6 (there should be a link on the /download page), be sure that the little radio button is set on the tools/options page, to say "use this one". Java error

- This is not the best place to ask for help; try the forum from the /support link on the main site. I think you will find lots of discussion there. AFAIK (I don't use Base), you need a Java version of 1.6.something. If you have 1.7 installed, or if you download 1.6 (there should be a link on the /download page), be sure that the little radio button is set on the tools/options page, to say "use this one".
