How do you turn off the automatic word completion behavior?


  1. Open a text document.
  2. From the pulldown menus, select Tools > AutoCorrect Options.
  3. Select the Word Completion tab.
  4. Deselect the check box to the left of "Enable word completion".
  5. Click OK.
