Contents
Intro
The scope of this project is to create a common certification program for OpenOffice.org. The object is to certify support companies (professional educators, owners of education centers, certification organizations, etc.), not users nor programmers directly, at least in the first steps.
OOo will develop appropriate, accurate criteria and will approve the organizations meeting these criteria.

Module 1 - General
This module is focused on non-specific areas, exclusive of any particular component of OpenOffice.org and most tasks can be performed from any area of OOo. This includes general settings, options, file and style management just to mention a few.
Module 2 - Writer (text editing)
This module presents information about the use and operation of the text processing component from OpenOffice.org.
Module 3 - Calc (spreadsheet)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the spreadsheet interface and common calculations.
Module 4 - Impress (presentation)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the presentation interface.
Module 5 - Draw (drawing)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the drawing interface
Module 6 - Base (database)
This module aims to get the student to achieve proficiency on the use of the database interface
Certification Material
The certification will include an official student manual and a trainer's manual that can be either downloaded or purchased through the OpenOffice.org Store.
