I&amp;#039;ve been using Linux and Open Source for over a decade. A large part of that time has been spent in evangelising FOSS around West Bengal, starting with co-founding the Indian GNU/Linux User Group – Kolkata Chapter in 1999.&lt;br /&gt;

[http://www.l2c2.co.in Localized Low Cost Computing] (acronymed L2C2) and FOSS technology stack productization are my current areas of interest. I&amp;#039;m a member of several global open-source projects e.g. OpenOffice.Org NLP, Ankur Bangla Project (Bengali FOSS L10N project), Koha (world&amp;#039;s first Open Source ILS), DSpace (Digital Library Project by MIT Libraries and HP Labs) to name a few. Presently I&amp;#039;m serving as Chief Technology Architect of L2C2 Technologies - a Kolkata-based FOSS startup of which I&amp;#039;m also a co-founder.&lt;br /&gt;
